Pago my last call for help. It should of been 1st.

I had been searching for a strut for this chair online with no luck and even tried a similar J Burrows strut but it was too short. I finally found branding on the chair so I reached out to Pago and spoke to Paul @ Pago International in regards to the strut issue I was having. He asked for some photos and within literally 2 emails I received a fantastic outcome which had been an issue for me for some time. I only wish I had contacted them sooner. Paul gave me very prompt and professional replies to my emails. This is what customer service truly is. Would highly recommend them for future purchases. Well done Paul and Pago International, keep up the great work. ☺

Absolutely Terrible Chair

Please don't buy this chair, its absolutely terrible; my model's back rest constantly drops down and not wanting to make a fuss I just kept on using it over the months with the back rest all the way down and now (working many hours in a day) my back has progressively become more and more sore as a result (to the point that action is required), although the chair is rated as being able to be used for long periods of a day, and the warranty is a joke, I actually bought the chair because of the generous warranty compared to other chairs in a similar price range but the thing was squeaking after just a few weeks (although I could probably fix that with some lithium spray). Anyway; very disappointed in this product, Officeworks should consider actually trying some of the products they sell.

Reliable company and great product

I bought this chair almost 3 years ago. I had a problem with the gas lift recently. The team at Pago were extremely responsive, apologetic, and made things right so quickly. Can’t fault that service. The chair itself has been great. Super durable. Still looks brand new

Great chair, great value

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. I spent weeks looking for the right chair and I'm really happy with the purchase. I've been in the IT business for 30 years and this is by far the most comfortable chair I've ever had for my home office. In my opinion it's a very good chair and really good value for money. My partner keep borrowing it so I need another.

Rubish

Broken after 2 days of normal use. The backrest is poorly designed. I wish I read the comments before buying it. Backrest has a locking mechanism supported by a tiny little pin (see photo) which snapped in half and fell out on a second day of normal use. Hence, why the back does not stay up. It is just rubbish. I have no idea how did this chair get AFRDI level 6. Returning it back for full refund.

Simply the Best

Simply the best writing chair I've ever sat in. Now I have no excuse not to finish writing my PhD. The guide said it would take 15mins to assemble. We followed the online video instructions, took us 5mins. No screws, no tools, no worries. Affordable. Comfortable. Supportive. Readily adjustable. 5 year warranty. I love the mesh back especially in hot weather for breathability.

Extremeley Poor Design

we purchased these chairs for our office expecting great comfort, was highly impressed first couple of days but after that the back support just started to drop randomly when you lent back on it and will not stay at the height you need. Bad design fault - needs a pin or something to lock it in at preferred height. Don't buy otherwise you will be wasting your money.

Great chair!

I am particular about comfort. I went to the Officeworks store and tested various office chairs, and I found one that is very comfortable to sit in. The back support doesn't feel as rigid on my back as a typical office chair. The design allows the back support to move in sync with my back when I lean back. I'm extremely grateful to have found this chair.

The most comfortable office chair I've ever had!

I've had this chair a couple of weeks now and have nothing but praise for it. I had twisted my back the day before I bought it (bad pickaxe technique!) and this chair actually helps fix it! The lumbar support is fantastic - although it may take you some time to get the four adjustment options in perfect balance for you. But, the effort is well worth the time it may take. The back height adjustment, which caused some people problems, is an extremely simple mechanism - if you seat the back firmly in the seat as indicated in the setup diagrams. It should click on a ratchet as you raise it slightly, this makes it impossible to slip. If you take it too high, simply raise it gently as far as it will go, you will hear the ratchet clicking into place as you go. Once you have it at maximum height it will then return to the bottom position and you can start again. The clever lumbar design means that getting the back height right is crucial. A very nice feature is that the back position is not cast in stone, but has some flexibility built-in which I find very restful. Finally, if you still don't like it after checking that you have assembled it properly, it has 15 years warranty. What more could you want?

best desk chair i've had!

The best desk chair i've had - I now regret not having purchased this earlier. After working from home on a dining chair for over a year, my body aches and my sitting posture has become terrible. The Pago Matrix Mesh Deluxe Heavy Duty Ergonomic Chair has exceptionally comfortable padding on the seat, and the curve of the mesh back perfectly fits the curve of my lower back and gently supports healthier posture. I also love that the back rest is flexible so remains supportive if I lean back to stretch. The levers allow me to perfectly adjust the seat height and angle to my specific desk set up as well. I was initially frustrated with the backrest slipping down - to the point that I almost returned the chair, but I read the reviews here and realised there was a support video here specifically to address this issue. I realised i was raising the back rest wrong - so I'm glad I saw the video and I no longer experience the backrest slipping. It's the perfect desk chair - would highly recommend!
